Our Mother's Day Gifts
Take a peek at our wonderful Mother's Day creations! The students worked with blending colors in art class, on a canvas... then we added their silhouettes. After everything was dry I had them write their message to their mom!
ENJOY :)

Melted Crayons & Bible Verse Flowers
With working at a Catholic School, our biggest fundraiser is our Annual School Auction. This year each teacher is in charge of coming up with something to put in the auction that the students helped make. I have seen numerous melted crayon projects on Pinterest and wanted to add a religious twist. I melted the green crayons, on a white canvas, so they would look like stems. Then using copied pages of specific bible versus we cut out petals, Mod Podged them onto colored paper, and glued four petals to the back of giant colorful buttons. The flowers were glued into place and you end up with this amazing project! I just might need to go bid on it myself... or make another ;).

Mooseltoe!
Wowie... It has been WAY to long since my last post. I am so sorry! Here is an activity we did during our Christmas party. We read the story Mooseltoe, then created our own moose. We used yarn and gobbed on glue so that we could shape the moose's mustache. These dried for a day, then at our party we decorated them with anything we could find (garlin, bulbs, glitter, candy canes, etc.).
They turned out SOOO cute! ENJOY

NEED YOUR HELP!
Hi All,
The Kindergarten teacher and I are in charge of the schools Student Council this year since the previous leader found a job else where. We usually hold a "Fun Day" the Friday after our Christmas Concert, it usually lasts an hour. In the past the typical All School Movie, All School Carnival, and All School Relay Races (team games) have been done... A LOT! I like being different... so I was hoping to try and come up with something new, it just seems like the students on Student Council are stuck in the past and have a hard time coming up with something "outside of the box". I want to show them that there are other options out there... so that is where you come in... Any ideas on an all school activity? Please remember, we are in Wisconsin and it is starting to get cold about now... so it usually takes place in the Gym.
**I don't have a whole lot of followers yet... so if you could link this to your site so that others might click it and respond/help as well that would be AMAZING!!
Thanks for your time, cant wait to hear all of your ideas.

50th Day Fun
Happy 50th Day!! Well... actually ours was on Tuesday, I am just a little behind. What did you do to celebrate the 50th Day? We dressed up, hand jived, drank root beer floats, and hula hooped with the Kindergarten class. There were also 50th Day classroom activities incorporated through our busy, busy day.
